Earbuds: you want them but the choices are endless. If you go to Amazon and search earbuds, there are more than 20,000 results. So if you have the time to read about each one, go for it. Otherwise, here are a few options.

V-MODA just launched the BassFit, their first fitness-focused Bluetooth in-ear headphone, which they properly refer to as “The Ultimate Sport Headphone Companion” in a recent press release.

Just about everyone shops for earbuds with sound being the main feature. In the BassFit, your ears will hear sound tuned with perfection in the bass and pristine clarity.

V-Moda went all out to ensure great sound along with features to keep the earbuds in place during any workout or just listening along at 32,000 feet in the air.

The BassFit also features V-Moda’s patent-pending TriFit design to give users comfort and the perfect fit. They can be worn as traditional earbuds, with the choice of eight different sized sets of ear tips to get the right fit. In addition, you can add ear fins (3 sets), ear hooks or a combination of both.

With two-layer nanocoating technology, V-Moda calls it competition-crushing sweat and weather resistance from in-house testing.

An inline three-button controls music, volume, hands-free calls and accessing voice assistants.

Each earbud has a magnetic closure for securing the earbuds together around your neck when they aren’t playing your tunes. Or just store them in the included soft pouch. Available in black or white.

Best wireless earbuds are always better than wired ones because of their convenience. $130

Creative’s AURVANA TRIO wired earbuds with Hybrid Triple-Driver System deliver detailed highs, natural vocals, and accurate bass, which pump pristine, accurate sound in your ears.

With all this technology, what’s import is how it sounds and it was impressive at any volume level on every song from my eclectic playlist.

You get four sets of different sized silicone ear tips and when you get the right fit you will take advantage of the earbuds AuraSeal Design. This gives you up to 98-percent of noise isolation out of the stylish looking and well- built earbuds with a gunmetal finish.

A great feature is the thin detachable braided MMCX connector 3.9-foot cable, making it easy to replace in the event of damage or you want to use a specialized aftermarket cable.

If you have never used a detachable cable on earbuds, you’ll love this one. It connects easily, stays intact and swivels as needed. The braided design also keeps you pretty much tangle free. On the cable is a 1-button control for music, power, volume and, calls.

A hard travel case and airplane travel adapter are included. $99.99

I’ll give a shout out to FUNCL, a new company comprised of experienced sound professionals who have introduced two models of true wireless sound solutions on Indiegogo.

They gave me a sneak peek at both, and I was very impressed with the sound, features and affordable prices.

Funcl AI ($54.99) is powered by Bluetooth 5.0 touch control and has Hi-Fi sound quality. The 6.5-hour battery life and a quick glance it has the looks similar to AirPods. Charging and storage are done in the included hard battery case, which will give up to three extra charges.

The smaller profile Funcl W1 has the look of a traditional earbud, without the wire. It’s starting out priced at $19.99 and features Bluetooth 5.0 and touch control. They have a 4.5-hour battery life and up to 18 hours with the charging/storage case.

Strength from the heart: Realme U1 is the world’s first phone equipped with the Helio P70 AI Processor

The Realme U1 demonstrates how the brand is committed to its product philosophy “Power meets Style”. The hardware configuration of the U1 reaches new heights, further upgrading user experience by becoming the world’s first smartphone to be equipped with the MediaTek Helio P70 chip.

The P70 chip uses TSMC’s latest 12nm FinFET production process, which reduces power consumption by 15% compared to other 14nm class processor. At the same time, the P70 features an octa-core architecture with four Cortex-A53 high-efficiency cores and four Cortex-A73 high-performance cores, for a maximum clock speed of 2.1GHz. In terms of graphics processing, the P70 is equipped with a 900MHz ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, resulting in overall computing performance that is 13% higher than the P60.

SelfiePro front camera with Dual Rear Camera

Born as “Indian’s Selfie Pro”, Realme U1 is equipped with an AI 25 MP SelfiePro front camera powered by SONY’s IMX576 light sensor with its strong bottom imaging capacity. With more powerful fundamental computing capacity and image processing, it fully supports users to take selfies, due to Realme U1’s Helio P70 processing platform.

The Realme U1 SelfiePro cameras have been specifically developed to showcase Indian people’s skin tones, and precisely capturing details of eyes and hair, through 296 facial identification points. The device also offers a group selfie beauty mode featuring algorithms that automatically identify genders in the same photo and apply the most suitable beautification solutions without tempering, slimming and whitening.

Compared with its predecessor P60, P70 has much stronger performance in taking photos. The brand new HD depth-of-field engine improves the in-depth mapping performance by 3 times and supports 24fps smooth preview of bokeh effect, with less power consumption.

Furthermore, the enhanced AI performance ensures better exposure, focusing, and white balance in the face recognition and scenario recognition modes. P70’s powerful image processing capacity, coupled with Realme’s optimization at the software level, gives U1 an HDR function capable of real-time preview. The HDR effect can show in the frame in real time.

Realme U1 comes with a 13MP+2MP duel rear camera.  The 13MP master camera clearly recover objects and precisely present all details; The 2 MP secondary camera shows the depth-of-field and bokeh effects and adds more fun. The smart camera phone also supports 90fps/720P slow-mo video capture to slow down the wonderful moments in life for more fun.

Light pillar design captures the essence of texture and look

To satisfy young people’s tastes, the Realme U1 adopts a more fashionable and bold design style, replacing plain, solid design with a unique light pillar effect. In different lighting, rotating the mobile phone shows off a unique textured look from different angles.

To achieve this, the back panel of the mobile phone is constructed using a 13-layer micron-level coating that has been baked and polished at very high temperature, with layers finely joined to achieve atomic-level bonding between the laminates. The result is a back cover that combines transparency and rugged durability.

In terms of design, the U1 uses Realme’s new upgraded VI in its packaging. The box casing utilizes the brand’s secondary color grey with logo and text in Realme Yellow. Inside, the packaging features an all-Realme Yellow design, to convey a young, positive and optimistic brand image that will continue to bring more surprises to its users.

Dewdrop Full Screen is stunning yet practical

The 6.3’’ Dewdrop Full Screen is highly integrated with the front camera, light sensor and distance sensor, and a receiver adopting a new channel sound transmission design, all integrated into the “dewdrop” and embedded in the top of the screen. Together, these maximize performance and the phone’s visual impact.

The U1 has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8% and a screen ratio of 19.5:9, for ultra-wide field of view that greatly enhances the efficiency of information presentation. Users will achieve more immersive visual feedback while browsing images and watching videos.

In terms of resolution, the U1 is equipped with a 2340*1080, 409PPI screen that takes picture clarity to the next level. Its 1500:1 high contrast and 450nit brightness screen allows users to choose 1080P HD mode while watching videos on YouTube, greatly improving their viewing experience.

Along with the SelfiePro, Realme also launched Realme Iconic Case mobile phone case; and the pro-grade, high-end Realme Buds headphones with a bold and trendy design that combines practicality and durability and will be on sale around New Year, 2019. How to chose the best solar power bank?

Solar charger has lots of benefits. Everybody should have solar chargers for their own need. Here we are going to look how to pick solar power banks for most people.

How to chose the best solar power bank?

If you have decided to get a solar power bank, then before making a purchase, there are few things to consider and keep in mind. Getting a solar power bank that doesn’t fit your needs is a waste, therefore spend some time figuring out what do you exactly need.

Probably the most important factor is power bank’s capacity. To choose the right one, you must know what devices you’re planning to charge. Despite your device, we always advise getting at least 2000mAh battery as it can do one full smartphone charge. And again, of course, it depends on your device. So if possible, always go for the highest capacity solar power bank, but remember that higher capacity means larger batter and also more weight that can play a huge role while hiking for many days.

It’s no lie that more recognizable manufacturers usually make better products, but they are also noticeably more expensive. You definitely want to go for the best and highest quality product. The thing is that solar cells aren’t the most effective way how to harness energy. A regular solar panel transforms only about 22% of solar energy into electrical energy. However, a high-quality panel can transform twice as much (around 40%). In the result, one solar power bank can be twice effective as another one.

Rugged build

If you do plan to use your solar power bank for hiking and other outdoor activities, you probably want to get it as rugged as possible so no rain, water splashes, snow or mud could harm it. Fortunately, there are such devices.

While the main purpose of solar power bank undoubtedly is recharging your electronic devices, you can also have some other features like a flashlight, multiple USB ports and attached carabiners which are extremely useful while being outdoors.

Our Top Picks for Solar Power Banks

1. Solar Charger Teryei 15000mAh – superb for hiking

Our first pick is Solar Charger Teryei. This is a high capacity charger, with 15000mAh you should be able to charge your smartphone at least 4 times. The manufacturer claims that this solar charging bank can be charged in 6-8 hours when charged with cable. This means that solar charging will take much longer. However, you should get enough of power for your daily smartphone needs, of course, if you’re using it only for few texts and calls.

For those who want to bring their solar power bank outdoors, this is a great pick as it features a robust and durable build. It’s made from silicone rubber meaning it’s waterproof and dustproof. You also get such features as a compass, metal hook to hang it on your backpack as well as LED Flashlight with four light modes.

2. Cobra Electronics CPP 300 SP Dual Panel Solar USB Charger

The power that solar cell outputs is proportional to the area of this solar panel, meaning if you want more effective solar charging, you need more panels. The main feature of this solar power bank is its dual panel design. Theoretically, it should charge your devices twice as fast as other solar power banks. However, you should remember that quality of the solar cell also plays a huge role.

Inside you have 6,000mAh lithium polymer battery pack which should be enough for 2-3 phone charges. It also has a cool LCD Display that shows battery level.

3. PLOCHY Solar Charger 24000mAh Power Bank

Plochy solar charger is definitely the way to go if you want a power bank with a large capacity that you can also recharge will solar power. It’s truly a quality product, everything seems very well made. The best thing about Plochy is its versatility. There are three USB ports each of them delivering up to 2.4 A as well as Apple lightning port and Android micro-USB port. The manufacturer claims that with a full charge, this solar power bank can charge iPhone 10 times or Samsung Galaxy S7 6 times and that’s a lot. If you heavily use your smartphone, this is power bank for you.

Overall, this power bank is more for those want to squeeze few extra hours from their devices rather than hiking outdoors and using it as a primary recharge source.

What You Need to Know about Google’s Flutter?

Flutter has created a lot of buzz in recent times given that it has been released by Google and it is a toolkit that helps with native development in both iOS and Android! Since it is open source, there is a lot of developer interest in it and given its high-speed programming capability, it has become an instant hit with people involved in both iOS and android application development. Given that it is still in its nascent stages, the fact that Flutter is so popular and is being heavily used is testament to its capabilities and it is poised as a direct competitor to React Native.

What You Need to Know about Googles flutter

Flexibility, support for both Android and iOS, native ARM code, portable GPU, insertion into WebView, support for an extensive list of IDEs, hot reload, app localization – these are some of the features of Flutter that make it a strong contender to React Native. #1: Rapid Development

This is the major attraction of Flutter apart from the fact that it caters to both Android and iOS development. Android and iOS developers are flocking to Flutter for its rich UI, easy building capability and customizable widgets. In fact, building a native API in such quick time with rich features and with quick reload is Flutter’s USP. Not only that, Flutter helps you build a modern and reactive UI framework which help you do away with the typical UI annoyances. It is easy to build a feature rich and animated UI with Flutter without much ado.

#2: UI Flexibility

Flutter comes with rich customization scope and such UI flexibility and feature rich SDKs are always a hit with Android and iOS developers. With Flutter, one can develop apps that have seamless UIs and are responsive. Material design can be used in both android application development and iOS and Cupertino is available specifically for iOS apps. With Flutter, you can get a feature rich UI with minimal coding, less time and ensure that navigation and user experience are pretty good too. Now, isn’t that something you would like when developing your app?

#3: Easier cross platform app development

We’ve been raving about how Flutter facilitates easy and quick development and how it can be used for developing both iOS and android application development. This also means that it is easier to go ahead with cross platform app development with the SDK. Also, you can reuse existing code from your Java, Objective C and Swift codes and make use of the native features of Android and iOS as well. The learning curve for Flutter is soft and thus it is easy for Android and iOS developers to ramp up application development with Flutter.

#4: High Quality and performance

Given the feature rich UI that one can build with Flutter, it is no surprise that the user experience is unparalleled with apps built using the SDK. Flutter enables a GPU renderer with a native ARM code capability which ensures that the user experience is great and that the app is very fast. Flutter comes with a hot reload feature which enables quick building and easier bug fixing. This ensures better quality with easier debugging and building.

Given all these rich features, it is no wonder that Flutter has become so popular within no time! If you are an Android or iOS developer, you must be raring to dive into this feature SDK and begin your app development. Quick development, ease of coding, better performance and cross platform capability – what is not there to like in Flutter?
